Oh, nicknames. You
usually can’t choose them for yourself…you can only choose to accept
them. Sure, you can try to reject them, but that usually only makes them
stick even more. And when it comes to my Mom, these are her top "pet
names"for me. What are some of yours? Maybe someday you can tell me over
a slice of gooseberry pie.

Halloween is an interesting time in the life of a dog. Having to endure
the silly costumes, (why are they always so itchy?), and performing
tricks for treats. If only there was a day when we could dress our
humans up as dogs. Now THAT would be funny! But until that time, here's
